A bigger impact starts with awareness. Before people can make a difference, they first need to understand the challenges that others face. Throughout my 13-week internship with Step 30, I learned that awareness is often the first step toward meaningful action. Whether encouraging responsible donations to maximize the impact, introducing volunteers to warehouse operations, or translating educational materials, I realized that communication plays a crucial role in creating social impact. This internship allowed me to contribute to several projects while I started to learn a deeper understanding of how international NGOs work to support communities with different backgrounds.
