Brief Introduction of the Department

【Executive Office】

The Executive Office of the STUF United Fund Asia-Pacific Center (STUF APC) serves as the operational hub of the organization, responsible for implementing the vision and strategies set forth by the Board of Directors. As the primary administrative and coordination body, the Executive Office ensures that the Center’s programs and initiatives are effectively executed across the Asia-Pacific region. Key responsibilities of the Executive Office include overseeing daily operations, managing projects, and facilitating communication among stakeholders such as governments, international organizations, private sector partners, and civil society. The team plays a pivotal role in developing and executing initiatives that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a strong focus on youth empowerment, sustainability advocacy, and regional collaboration. In addition, the Executive Office acts as the bridge between the leadership of STUF APC and its various working groups, ensuring that strategic decisions are translated into practical actions. By fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships and coordinating resources, this office contributes to building a stronger platform for Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region to engage with global agendas.

Promoting Global Engagement through Digital Communication and Social Media

【Internship Project Objectives】

Develop hands-on skills in social media strategy, digital storytelling, and online community engagement
Strengthen bilingual (Chinese & English) communication through professional writing, translation, and audience interaction
Design and implement digital campaigns to enhance organizational visibility and promote youth participation
Gain insights into how digital communication supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Acquire practical experience in NGO branding, analytics, and cross-cultural collaboration

【Internship Job Description】

Assist in planning, producing, and managing digital content to promote international and youth-centered initiatives.
Responsibilities include drafting bilingual posts, articles, and newsletters to highlight key activities, share project outcomes, and engage global audiences.
Support the design and execution of social media campaigns to expand outreach and strengthen online visibility across social media platforms.
Conduct research on global trends in digital engagement, sustainability, and youth development to enhance content relevance and impact.
Monitor performance metrics and audience feedback to refine communication strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams and international partners to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and tone across all digital materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Intern Skill Sets or Qualities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with Canva or social media marketing is a plus.
Strong project management and coordination skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to execute effectively.
Deep interest in international affairs, sustainable development (SDGs), and youth-related issues.
