As part of National Taiwan University’s overseas internship program, Angela embarked on an eye-opening journey to Impact Hub Phnom Penh, a dynamic co-working and incubation space in Cambodia. Throughout her internship, Angela worked closely with local startups, assisting in entrepreneurship training programs and contributing to marketing and visual design projects.
In interviews and reflections, she shared how the experience challenged her preconceptions and deepened her understanding of Cambodia’s startup ecosystem. “I was surprised by how passionate and mission-driven the young entrepreneurs are here,” she said. Beyond work, Angela actively engaged with the local community, gaining valuable cross-cultural communication skills.
Her time in Phnom Penh highlighted the importance of empathy, adaptability, and global awareness in today’s interconnected world—skills she now hopes to bring back to Taiwan and apply in future professional endeavors.
