ORGANIZATION INFO

The Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA) is an independent NGO that advances Taiwan’s international visibility through civic innovation, digital resilience, and people-centered diplomacy. Founded in 2018, TDDA upholds the belief that participation matters more than prestige—empowering citizens, connecting Taiwan with global partners, and fostering democratic engagement through creativity and collaboration.

TDDA’s work is grounded in three core pillars:

  1. Global Voice Building — The organization manages multilingual media platforms, publishes international briefings, and leads storytelling campaigns that amplify Taiwan’s global presence and positive narratives.
  2. Talent and Exchange Incubation — It designs cross-sector education and training programs with schools, NGOs, government institutions, and enterprises to cultivate young leaders and campus ambassadors who represent Taiwan on the world stage.
  3. Digital Democracy Defense — TDDA builds international networks, resilience handbooks, and digital training modules that equip civil society to recognize disinformation, strengthen preparedness, and safeguard democracy in the digital age.

Over the past few years, TDDA has launched initiatives in more than 25 countries, collaborating with embassies, governments, and civic partners. Its international campaigns, youth exchanges, and resilience collaborations have been featured by over 350 global media outlets, positioning TDDA as one of the most dynamic civil society voices bridging Taiwan with the world.
