ORGANIZATION INFO

The Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA), an independent NGO, focuses on increasing Taiwan's visibility through public diplomacy and fostering connections between Taiwanese society and foreign communities. Recognizing that participation carries more weight than mere contributions, TDDA has traveled and launched projects in collaboration with more than 25 countries over the past six years. Our work has also been featured in over 300 international media outlets, including those in Vietnam, Kosovo, and the United States. Additionally, we have engaged with more than 40 embassies, diplomatic institutions, and non-diplomatic associations based in Taiwan.

【Project Management Team】

The Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA) Project Management Team is responsible for managing TDDA's external communications and overseeing project management initiatives. Joining our project management team provides you with the opportunity to engage in the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to project execution and closure. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of project plans, monitoring project execution progress, maintaining communication with key stakeholders, coordinating community outreach efforts, and compiling comprehensive project outcome reports.

【Internship Project Topic】

Leveraging Digital Diplomacy and Social Media to Enhance Taiwan's Global Visibility and Partnerships.

【Internship Project Objectives】

Develop Practical Skills in Project Implementation:
Contribute to the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, with a focus on enhancing project outcomes and stakeholder communication.
Enhance Research and Analytical Capabilities:
Conduct research on international affairs trends and create concise, insightful summaries for newsletters and reports tailored to diverse audiences.
Improve Social Media Management and Strategy:
Oversee and grow TDDA's presence on social media platforms (Twitter and LinkedIn) by crafting engaging, high-quality content and analyzing audience engagement metrics.
Foster Collaboration Across Sectors:
Engage with public sector representatives, NGOs, academic institutions, and private organizations through external events, gaining hands-on experience in cross-sectoral and intercultural collaboration.
Strengthen Understanding of Digital Diplomacy:
Deepen knowledge of how digital tools and platforms shape diplomacy, influence international communication, and contribute to fostering global partnerships.

【Internship Job Discription】

As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research efforts for the newsletter and enhancing our social media presence. During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in engaging with international audiences and managing our official Twitter (11K followers) and LinkedIn (1,300+ followers) by creating compelling social media content. You will also learn how to craft professional newsletters and develop the ability to summarize news and reports in formats tailored to our audience. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to participate in the association's external events and collaborate with external partners from the public sector, NGOs, academic institutions, and private organizations. If you are passionate about staying informed on international affairs, conducting in-depth research, and creating engaging social media content, then you are exactly who we are looking for!
