My three-month internship at the Taiwan Asia Exchange Foundation has been a journey of exploration and growth, igniting a passion for Southeast Asian politics, economics, and social issues. I was tasked with translating English to Chinese, compiling local news from Southeast Asian countries, and assisting in verifying official documents. Each task deepened my understanding of the region's socio-political landscape and honed my research skills. Although I initially struggled with deadlines due to perfectionism, I overcame this challenge and improved my efficiency. I am filled with gratitude towards the Taiwan Asia Exchange Foundation and the Office of International Affairs at National Taiwan University for providing me with this invaluable opportunity. Their unwavering support and commitment to curating such inspiring internships and various courses have been instrumental in shaping my journey of exploration and growth.
