Calls Over Ridges (COR) is seeking adetail-oriented, solutions-driven, and tech-savvy Knowledge Management & Operations Intern to support thedevelopment of an internal knowledge database (wiki) that enhancescollaboration and documentation access across departments and countries. Thisrole is embedded within the Regional Operations Team and focuses on structuringinternal workflows, integrating tools, and optimizing documentation systemsacross COR’s multi-country operation.
This internship offers an excellentopportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate with a strong interestin digital systems, process design, and cross-functional coordination to buildfoundational experience in an international NGO context.
● Support the design and implementation of COR’s internal knowledge base(wiki), with an emphasis on clarity, scalability, and department-levelcategorization.
● Audit existing folders, templates, and knowledge assets across HR,Finance, Program, and Communications teams; contribute to the creation of aclean, searchable, and logical file structure.
● Collaborate with department leads to identify documentation needs andsystematize knowledge-sharing practices.
● Utilize AI tools (e.g., Notion AI, Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance documentsummarization, metadata tagging, and searchability.
● Build automation features using GoogleSheets formulas, App Script, orother lightweight integrations to streamline internal workflows.
● Support cross-platform syncing across Google Drive, Slack, Notion, Canva, and other team tools.
● Identify and pilot improvements in documentation automation, includingversion tracking, content linking, or platform triggers.
● Draft visual manuals, flowcharts, or short guides to support adoptionof the new knowledge system across teams.
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in BusinessAdministration, Information Systems, Digital Communications, InternationalStudies, or a related field.
● Strong logical structuring skills; able to conceptualize and organizemulti-layered content systems.
● Proficient in Google Sheets with working knowledge of formulacreation, data validation, and conditional formatting.
● Familiarity or willingness to learn Google App Script and other integration tools (e.g., Zapier,Make/Integromat).
● Demonstrated interest or hands-on practice with AI-assisted workflows (e.g., using Notion AI, ChatGPT, Gemini).
● Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
● Experience in building or managing internal wikis, SOP libraries, ordigital knowledge bases.
● Familiarity with Slackintegrations, Canvafolders/templates, or knowledge-sharing flows.
● Demonstrated self-motivation to design or improve internal systems,with a builder’s mindset.
● Ability to work independently while aligning with multiple teams'documentation needs.
● Hands-on experience in building cross-functional internal systemswithin an international NGO.
● Exposure to operations, HR, finance, and communications workflowsacross multiple countries.
● A working understanding of platform integrations and documentationstandards.
● Mentorship from COR’s operations leaders and potential growth into anOperations or Knowledge Systems role.
