The internship at the Jane Goodall Institute as a Roots & Shoots Facilitator was a transformative experience in my journey toward environmental conservation and education. I gained invaluable knowledge about conservation, sustainable practices, and how to engage communities, foster leadership in youth, and promote a culture of care for our planet. My main responsibilities were creating social media content, engaging with students to discuss environmental topics, and mentoring them in Roots & Shoots projects.
