In my internship in Jane Goodall Institute, I helped organize an Earth Day event at Zuiyue Lake in NTU, featuring stations that used smell, hearing, and touch to identify plants. The positive feedback from Kelly, the executive director of JGI, was a significant affirmation of our efforts. I also assisted with the Asia-Pacific Innovation Summit in Nantou, which is my first business trip. Although physically exhausting, it was a valuable learning experience, highlighting my challenges with hosting roles. Additionally, I supported Eco Day at the Jane Goodall Sustainability Academy. I found this very different from the formal education I received. Instead of focusing solely on studying and exams, the children at the academy learned about interpersonal relationships and environmental principles in a much freer way, which I liked very much. I am really thankful for NTU's Office of International Affairs and Impact Hub Taipei for organizing the iNGO program, which provided me with these learning opportunities!
