The internship in Taiwan Equality Campaign has been both busy and fulfilling. I provided logistics support for three NGO special events, including press conferences and a major award ceremony. This experience allowed me to observe the intricate preparation required for media events and understand how a small NGO can create positive social change despite limited resources. I also realigned my self-initiated project to my career aspirations, focusing on the psychological well-being of LGBTQ youth. Attending a forum at NTU and connecting with professionals in the field helped me explore the intersection of academic theories and practical experience in counseling and social work. The internship had indeed been fruitful, just towards the end in a very unexpected way.
