This sense of flexibility is, in many ways, a defining characteristic of working at TDDA. Tasks can arise urgently and unexpectedly, requiring interns to respond quickly, think on their feet, and maintain composure in demanding situations. Equally as valuable as this adaptability, however, is the remarkable diversity within the TDDA office. Having colleagues from a wide range of national and cultural backgrounds has enriched my experience tremendously. For instance, I recently collaborated with a French colleague and a Vietnamese-American colleague on a project related to the Russia-Ukraine War. Through our discussions, I gained new perspectives on how their respective governments and societies have been responding to the conflict.
