I’m glad I joined my internship at the Garden Of Hope Foundation through the iNGO program. The main difference between an iNGO program and a regular internship is that the iNGO program encourages deeper reflection and connection of other interns in which a regular internship does not. Through iNGO through the midterm and final reflections, it’s given me the time and space to take a second, pause and think back to what accomplishments I’ve made so far and also what I’ve learned so far in the middle of my internship. Along with fostering a connection between other interns, even though we would inherently connect as NTU students, iNGO steps it up even further with providing students a very educationally culturally diverse study trip.
