Over the past few weeks, my internship at TAISA has been truly a transformative experience. One of the core tasks I was involved in was developing a unified Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework for three partner organizations: Africa ICT Right (Ghana), SOS Children’s Villages (ESAF Region), and Blue Sapphire Hub (Nigeria). I was tasked to find the common goal and design a shared results framework that could work for all three while respecting each organization’s context. Another key task I took on was researching the top 10 most in-demand digital skills and designing questionnaires that could be applied across partners. It was challenging when merging indicators and ensuring consistency, but feedback from my mentor helped me refine and improve. Over the past three months, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined, not just in professional skill sets, but in how I understand international collaboration, purpose-driven work, and the value of human connection. This experience has taught me how to think critically, collaborate across borders, and stay grounded even while juggling complexity. But most of all, it has reminded me that impact starts with people. And I’m truly honored to have been part of this journey.
