My internship at the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) and the Jane Goodall Academy was an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience. My main responsibilities were managing social media accounts and supporting educational activities. Beyond social media, I supported Academy classes, including cooking classes, and attended the JGA Information Session, where I prepared various activities such as dot-to-dot, drawing, origami airplanes, and English games. Although group dynamics were challenging, it was a valuable hands-on teaching experience. I also co-organized the first-ever NTU-Intern Competition at JGA, where I hosted a newspaper house-building activity. Over the course of the internship, I gained hands-on experience in educational program planning, event management, and collaborative teamwork in an international non-profit setting. I also had the chance to apply my creativity and leadership while contributing meaningfully to the organization’s mission of inspiring hope through environmental education and youth empowerment.
