Over the past months, my internship at the Jane Goodall Institute Taiwan has been a transformative journey, blending environmental education with hands-on community engagement. As a student passionate about sustainability, this experience allowed me to transition from theoretical knowledge to impactful, practical communication within the international non-governmental organization sector. Throughout the latter half of the internship, my primary focus remained on refining our environmental education board game, "Guardians of Houlong River." A major milestone was testing the game with sixth-grade students, which offered a stark contrast to our previous sessions with fourth-graders.
