During my internship at the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA), I engaged with topics at the intersection of technology, diplomacy, and cross-cultural collaboration. Contributing as the main story writer for the English newsletter, I curated narratives reflecting TDDA’s mission, conducted research on AI as a form of soft power, and analyzed its impact on global standing. Publishing these pieces on TDDA’s LinkedIn and Medium deepened my appreciation of digital storytelling as “an invisible passport.” Another focus was analyzing AI-generated propaganda and misinformation campaigns, which sharpened my media literacy and understanding of information warfare. This internship pushed me to confront complex topics, adapt to evolving projects, and refine research, communication, and analytical skills. It clarified my career interests in digital diplomacy, journalism, and international collaboration, reaffirming my desire to work at the intersection of technology and global affairs. Moreover, I gained a deeper appreciation for the iNGO sector’s complexities. From securing funding to balancing stakeholder expectations, I saw firsthand how perseverance and collaboration drive impact.
