My internship at the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) in Taiwan provided invaluable insights into international NGOs while developing my professional skills. As a social media editor for both JGI and the Jane Goodall Sustainability Academy (JGSA), I created content such as “Jane’s Wisdom Wednesday,” highlighting Dr. Goodall’s philosophy while supporting conservation and recruitment. I also discovered the unique effectiveness of the Threads platform, where one lecture promotion reached 10,000 views in 20 hours, teaching me that effective advocacy requires emotional resonance and platform-specific strategies. This internship gave me professional experience while reaffirming my belief in the power of education and communication to inspire future generations.I find myself reflecting deeply on the impactful and inspiring journey I’ve experienced over the past few months. This internship has not only strengthened my passion for environmental education and conservation outreach but also allowed me to connect meaningfully with both students and professionals who share a similar vision. Through hands-on contributions, I was able to turn ideas into actions and make a small but significant difference.
