Through this project I have with Child Welfare Foundation, I learned the importance of understanding stakeholder perspectives and adapting communication strategies accordingly. Sustainability initiatives are not only about doing meaningful work but also about presenting that work in ways that different audiences can understand and connect with. This experience strengthened my ability to think more strategically and challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone. Overall, these internship experience allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. I developed stronger communication skills and learned more about sustainability-related work in a nonprofit organization.
