Yes, you can apply to the iNGO Academy Program if you still hold student status at NTU.
No. Before the internship officially starts, contact between students, tutors and organizations is strictly prohibited. NTU OIA acts as the bridge between students and the host organizations before the internship starts. This is to ensure all students have a fair opportunity throughout the application process. If students are found to have initiated contact with any members of the organization, NTU OIA has the right to withdraw the students' application from the entire program.
No, in order to be fair to all the applicants, students are not allowed to revise their position preferences after the application deadline.
No, this program is free to apply and to participate in.
Whether students will undergo an interview will be determined by the organization. Interviews may be conducted either online or in person.
Whether salary and benefits are provided will depend on the regulations of each organization.

OIA will provide off-campus internship group insurance (Specified by the Ministry of Education) coverage for every student during the internship period. However, you are advised to have your own insurance for individual needs.
Working hours for each intern can be very different, which is negotiable between students, tutors and organizations within reasonable limits. However, we request that you have to work at least 16 hours per week during their internship.
※For non-Taiwanese identity card holders, due to work permit restrictions, the weekly internship hours during the semester must not exceed 20 hours.
Yes. You must still enroll in the course. However, you will only obtain 2 credits even if you enroll in and pass the course multiple times.
No, Mandarin is not a requirement for applying to the iNGO Academy Program. However, Chinese can be a plus for some organizations, our program is designed to provide students with an English-friendly environment where they can thrive professionally and personally.
No, there is no age limit to apply for the program. You can apply for the iNGO Academy Program if you still hold student status at NTU.
Salary is a fixed payment earned for the work done during the internship period. Benefits, on the other hand, are non-wage compensation and can exist in the form of free transportation, meals or even accommodation ,etc.
We will impart project implementation knowledge and valued soft skills through five training courses, combined with lectures and workshops, to cultivate the skills required for future work in iNGOs.
The internship period will run from February 26th to May 31st, totaling fourteen weeks.
We will organize five training courses and iNGO visits, providing students with spaces for communication and mutual learning. Ultimately, students will have the chance to share their achievements during the internship on Demo Day.
Whether the internship provides salaries or benefits depends on the organization, and it is all stated in the internship job description.

Yes, it is required to join all the events in this academy, and your attendance will affect your course performance.

Students are NOT required to write five separate CVs or motivation letters; however, you may do so if you wish to incorporate a message specific to each organization.
You have to prepare a Poster-presentation and a Booth Design to highlight Organizational Identity in iNGO Academy.
Yes. As this is a NTU course, students will earn credits. At the middle and end of the 13 weeks of the internship, students must produce two graded reports detailing their learning experiences. Guidelines for this report will be sent to students in due time.
Yes, but priority admission and financial support will be offered to students participating in the iNGO Academy.
The final grade will be calculated according to the below indicators:
- The organizations' evaluation of the students' performance : 60%
- Midterm Report: 10%
- Final Report: 10%
- Demo Day Performance: 20%
